There’s L-H-N-R with differential lock, 4x4 shaft drive, high & low gear and 2WD/4WD. The differential can be locked for maximum traction situations. And dual A-arm suspension front and rear provides 190mm of travel, with 310mm of ground clearance. A tilting cargo bed has a hefty 190kg capacity and the UXV 500 is rated to tow up to 550 kg. Its 4-wheeled engine braking is a most important feature you can rely on, especially when carrying a load on steep terrain. There are dual disc brakes front and rear and a reliable hand brake that won’t let go.
